TRANSACTION ANNOUNCEMENT:

David Massoudi buys Hunter DCJR Fiat in Lancaster, CA

National Business Brokers is pleased to announce the sale of Hunter Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Fiat, in Lancaster, CA, from Tim and Tom Fuller to David Massoudi, Axis Automotive Group. The transaction was handled by Brady Schmidt and Gary Mull of National Business Brokers.

Hunter DCJR Fiat has been a family-owned dealership since 1944, when H.W. "Hank" Hunter purchased an existing Dodge and Plymouth dealership. It has operated at a state-of-the-art facility in the Lancaster Auto Mall since 1997.

Tom and Tim Fuller, Hank’s grandsons, joined the business in 1997 and took ownership upon the passing of their father in 2002. In late 2018 the Fuller brothers expanded to build what is now the largest RAM truck center in the United States. Hunter DCJR Fiat has been known as an avid supporter of local charities, sports teams and clubs, law enforcement and the rodeo.

With no family members available to take the dealership into fourth generation ownership, Tom and Tim Fuller decided it was time to retire and spend more time with their families.

Tim Fuller commented, “We were amazed at how quickly this deal came together. We wanted to retire, but we didn’t think we would be able to sell for several years because of some logistical issues. Gary Mull looked at the issues and saw a solution that would allow us to sell right away. Brady and Gary quickly brought us several buyer candidates and worked with the utmost integrity to get both parties to a successful close. We’re retired earlier than we even hoped, and we could not be happier!”

Tom Fuller expressed his gratitude for the help of the NBB team in the transaction. “Brady and Gary helped us prepare for the sale, then stood shoulder to shoulder with us through a challenging close. They worked tirelessly to get the deal across the finish line. If you want to work with true experts who are also really good guys, work with NBB.

David Massoudi, a longtime client of NBB, is the new owner of the dealership. “NBB sold us our first store years ago, and they’ve now sold us our fourth store. Brady and Gary are true professionals and excellent closers. I appreciate their dedication to getting a deal across the finish line, no matter what it takes,” said David Massoudi, President, Mass Automotive Group.

The dealership will be named Hunter Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram & Fiat and will remain at its current location at 1130 Auto Mall Drive, Lancaster, CA.
