
Cole Strandberg is a Managing Director at National Business Brokers where he specializes in mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, and capital raises for middle-market businesses across the automotive aftermarket.
He brings a combination of investment banking and operational experience, along with a deep network across the automotive aftermarket.
Prior to joining National Business Brokers in 2026, Cole was a Managing Director within the Automotive Aftermarket group at FOCUS Investment Banking, where he advised on transactions across collisionrepair, automotive services, and distribution businesses.
Before returning to investment banking, Cole served as Director of Business Development at Autotality (formerly Filterworks USA), a leading provider of facility design, equipment, and service solutions for the automotive services industry. During his time there, the company partnered with a private equity firm as a platform and completed six add-on acquisitions, ultimately quadrupling in size. Cole played a key role in driving growth through strategic sales, key account development, and operational initiatives in various leadership roles.
Earlier in his career, Cole was an Associate on the Equity Capital Markets team at Noble Capital Markets, where he worked with small-cap growth companies across transportation, logistics, technology, and healthcare sectors.
Cole is the M&A columnist for Modern Tire Dealer and the host of The Collision Vision podcast, driven by Autobody News, where he interviews leading operators and executives across the automotive aftermarket. He was also named to SEMA’s 35 Under 35, recognizing emerging leaders in the industry.
He holds a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Mississippi. He holds the SIE, Series 63, and Series 82 FINRA licenses.
