Melissa is the Chief Financial Officer at Accrual Equity Partners, where she plays a critical role in building teams, designing internal controls, improving processes, and preparing organizations for growth, acquisitions, integrations, and successful exits. She brings more than a decade of experience working with private equity and venture capital-backed platform companies across the healthcare, print and publishing, and automotive sectors. Melissa supports National Business Brokers by strengthening financial infrastructure and internal controls.
Prior to joining Accrual Equity Partners, Melissa held leadership roles that positioned her as a trusted executive capable of aligning operations with strategic objectives in dynamic, growth-focused environments. With a strong foundation in finance, accounting, and human resources, coupled with hands-on experience leading acquisitions, integrations, and exits, Melissa brings deep operational and strategic expertise to her role.
Born and raised in the Boston area, Melissa moved to Arizona in 2003. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Brandeis University, a Master of Business Administration from Ottawa University, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Arizona. Outside of work, Melissa draws energy from time spent with her family and pets, and is an avid reader.
